March 16th

“I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”

“In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry to Him reached His ears!” Psalm 18 3, 6

This morning, we had to go out to the store to get some food and other things. As I was walking through the stored you could see the fear, anxiety and panic in so many people. As we waiting in line to check out, a store clerk said somethings about the Apocalypse. As I was walking to the car, I said to Emma, “Imagine what it is going to be like the day after the rapture!”

I am thankful that as believers that we have a faith, hope and peace that only comes from Jesus!

When the world is full of panic, this is when the church should be people of prayer.

We read in Psalm 18: “I call upon the Lord!” “In my distress I called upon the Lord, to my God I cried for help!”

When people have no hope, that is when we can cry out for help from the Lord! I want to encourage you to walk, talk and live in hope, because the Lord is our HELP, and that is why we have HOPE, even in times like today!

Prayer still works today, and tomorrow! Begin to sing that old song: “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone.”

Today call out to the Lord!
